StreetCritic is a platform where users can capture and share their subjective experiences with traffic routes. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the Prototype Fund. The application enables users to visualize ratings on an interactive map and highlight weaknesses in traffic infrastructure. The frontend is built with React and TypeScript, map rendering uses MapLibre GL JS. The backend uses Node.js with PostgreSQL and PostGIS for geodata processing.
